Deer Sighting

Fewer things are a stronger reminder of life in Colorado than the sighting of mule deer. They are indigenous to the American West, and in the summer time they roam around my neighborhood freely. However, their sighting is rarer in the winter. On a particularly warm day, I was glad to spot this beautiful doe with her winter coat still intact. (Shedding does not take place until February).
